Tactile UI is a library of interface objects that work like the hardware they're drawn from. The odometer carries like a real one: 1,099 to 1,100 rolls three drums over together. The Chladni plate adds up the plate's real modes, so turning the knob onto a resonance makes the sand draw the figure. The pin screen is pins on springs you can press a word into.
Around them are 45 website sections built from the objects, and a UI kit with no brand colour: finishes like aluminium, porcelain and black anodised, where colour only shows up when a lamp is lit. The kit ships with the rules Claude or Cursor read before they build with it.
Every object plays live on the site, no sign-in. Six pieces are free and MIT, with no account. Founder seats open at 09:00 UK on 27 October; sign in before then and you get one email when they do.
