Referat records your meetings and writes the minutes. Tap record, and Referat writes down who said what, gives every speaker a name and makes a short summary with the decisions and action items. Audio never leaves your iPhone.
How it works
Tap record. Recording keeps going with the screen locked, and you can mark a moment to come back to.
Read the transcript with speaker names, or the summary with decisions and who does what.
Copy the summary into an email, or export it as text, PDF or subtitles.
What's inside
A transcript with a name for every speaker; the text follows along as you listen
A short summary, the decisions and action items you can tick off
Search across every meeting you've recorded
Import audio files and voice memos
Transcribes English, Danish, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Korean
No minute limits
Private by design
Transcription and speaker labels run on the iPhone (Whisper and pyannote models), and summaries use Apple's on-device model (iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence). Audio is never uploaded. No account, no ads, no tracking.
Free
Every feature is free. If you like it, an optional Supporter purchase adds a few extra app icons. Nothing is ever locked.
